water and paper techniques
Learn water control and basics of ‘wet on wet’ and ‘dry on wet’ techniques
Experiment with saturated, damp and dry paper
Work with washes. We’ll start with one colour and water and develop these skills by blending additional colour
brush techniques
Experiment with different brush types including round, flat and split and how and when they are used to create different effects
Learn different brushstrokes
Combine the water and brush techniques and practice to build your confidence
put it into practice!
In the afternoon, it’s your chance to put your great new skills into practice!
Use the techniques to create your own beautiful watercolour work
We have lots of examples to help you with your creative inspiration!

Suitable for ALL levels of ability, kids 8+ (accompanied), small class size (max 8)
This is a day class: in the morning 10-1, we teach techniques, after lunch, 130-4 you create!
