About
UbieDesign was established by designer, Ubie Chan in London in 2017.
Ubie hails from Hong Kong and relocated to the UK in 2017. She is a qualified graphic designer and ran an art and craft studio and shop in Hong Kong for many years.
Ubie draws inspiration from her travels especially in Asia and Central America sourcing fabrics, artwork and ideas from local designers and artisans.
Art classes
Ubie runs regular art workshops in London and further afield. Classes are for small groups of typically no more than 12 people in a range of great art orientated shops and galleries. Many of the classes are suitable for beginners and you will learn new art techniques and enhance your skills. Many participants have been amazed at the beautiful work they can create in a short period of time!
Mandala by Ubiedesign
Mandala by UbieDesign offers a range of products from homeware, art and fashion exploring the duality of simplicity and complexity characterised by the Mandala structure.
Ubie also runs regular Mandala drawing and painting workshops. The workshops teach attendees the skills and techniques to create their own beautiful Mandalas and associated designs and to paint and colour them.
Ananta
Ananta draws inspiration from Asian and Central America fabrics and designs. Ananta offers a range of jewellery, bags, purses and fashion items.
Where possible, fabrics and materials are sourced ethically direct from local people and up-cycled to develop unique fashion wear and jewellery.
Ananta Shop online will launch in 2018.
